Path. Pass near by the fountain and follow the ancient road to France going to Cesana and Montgenevre, look at the sundials, the carved stones and the ancient oven, leave the village and join the houses of Foungillarde. Follow the path n.15 to the left to Malafosse Bassa. After 30 minutes through leafy larch and spruce trees the path arrives at the chapel of Mary Magdalene. Follow the path n.14 to Jouvenceaux on the left (about 20 minutes); here just before the village there are some wooden sculptures realised during the symposium “Art in the Forest”. Follow on the right the dirt road to Malafosse Bassa (1462 m), with the traditional mountain lodges and the Chapel of Saint Anne. Continue the path and at 1750 m look at the traditional alpine pasture of Malafosse Alta (1811 m), the Chapel of Saint Bernard and the fountain realised by the Consorzio Forestale. Here the landscape goes from Chaberton, to Desertes, Balbières, Soubras, Vazon, until the Col of the Rho up to Bardonecchia. Follow the dirt road to Grange Tachier and continue on the path n.12, pass near the Chapel of the Rosary and Saint Lawrence and go down to Jouvenceaux.
The village of Jovenceaux is worth a visit: do not miss the carved stone fountains, the sundials and the frescoed Chapel of Saint Antony the Abbey.
To come back to Saint Marc, follow the path n.13 that pass near by the ancient oven and across the meadows
